Autumn Term 2025

This term our inquiry is 'Wonderful, Marvellous Me' with a focus on food and nutrition. Our current inquiry title is 'Fuelling Our Bodies: How Food Fights off Germs'. We will be looking at what makes up a balanced diet including all the main food groups. The children will be designing a healthy packed lunch, making their own healthy wraps and creating instructions and recipe cards which will be shared in the hub and Big Bocs Bwyd.

We are also looking to organise workshops for the children, including Tai Chi, first aid and British Sign Language.

Our class novel for the Autumn term in 'Check Mate' by Stewart Foster.

Daily Routines and Reminders

P.E. Day - Tuesday

Please wear a white school polo shirt with a green school jumper or cardigan. Black joggers, shorts, or leggings should be worn along with suitable trainers.

Swimming Day - Thursday

Children will need to bring bathers / swimsuit, towel and goggle if they have them.

Homework, Spellings & Reading Books

Given weekly on a Friday to be returned by the following Wednesday. 

Spellings are also given out on a Friday and the spelling test is the following Friday.
