Our Learning Environment

Our classroom is a calm and cosy space. We use natural resources that ignite the children's curiosity as they explore the world around them. We provide lots of opportunities for the children to develop their social, language and mathematical skills and their own interests.

PE Day in Reception is every Wednesday.

Our Autumn Inquiry 2025

Wonderfully Marvellous Me is our whole school Autumn term inquiry, with a focus on Health and Wellbeing as our area of Learning Experience.

In Reception we are looking at ‘Me and myself: My talents and my team’ as our inquiry title. We will be finding out about how diverse our families are and celebrate our differences. We will be finding out about different talents and abilities, trying out new activities and developing our growth mindset and resilience to develop our wellbeing and self-esteem.

We are looking forward to finding out about the children and their likes, dislikes and special talents.

Splat Entertainment Circus Acts

We had a real life circus act come to school to visit us and teach us new skills. We enjoyed balancing peacock feathers on our fingers and noses.

Did you know we can throw and catch a scarf and blow them with our mouths?

We were excellent at balancing and spinning plates on our fingers and we helped our friends too!

The tight rope was a brand new skill for us to try out. We were wibbly and wobbly but we practised our balancing skills with lots of fun!
